Recommendations

Perform this plan with the guidance of a qualified health practitioner. Schedule a remote or office appointment with Dr. Sam Bahan if you need support for this plan. In addition to the supplements and suggested usage above, we recommend the following.

  • Explore the GAPS diet, which eliminates refined carbohydrates and sugar, including sugar substitutes. Heartburn sufferers tend to have triggers, like spicy foods, wheat, or alcohol. Foods that have been adulterated and manufactured should also be avoided.
  • Take a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar 15 minutes before each meal.
  • Drink a full glass of water with lemon first thing in the morning. You can drink lemon water throughout the day, but it is not recommended to drink water during the meal.
  • Learn and practice the Five Tibetan Rites (T5T.com) regularly to open lower chakras and free peristalsis.
  • Have a chiropractor or trained body worker check for a hiatal hernia.
  • Take 10 deep breaths before eating a meal. This will instantly help the body switch to parasympathetic mode, or “rest and digest” mode.
  • Eat slowly! Eating slowly gives your brain time to signal when the stomach is full, and encourages one not to overeat.
