GI Soothing supports digestive comfort during times of acute gastrointestinal upset by helping calm the GI tract and encouraging the body’s natural ability to restore balance. By promoting a calmer gut environment, it supports the body’s inherent ability to repair and restore the gastrointestinal lining without persistent irritation. 

GI Soothing features a biotic blend made of S. boulardii and Lactobacillus fermentate — clinically studied in dogs — to help support a healthy gut environment. Meanwhile, the plant mucilage blend gently coats and soothes the intestinal lining.

Is there a minimum age for GI Soothing?

There is no minimum age for GI Soothing. In our field study to date, puppies are responding well to the formula. 

Can GI Soothing be given with medications?

It is recommended to take medication and GI Soothing at least two hours apart.

 

How long should GI Soothing be used?

This will be different for each animal. Early field results have shown improvement in stool quality within 7 days. If the animal’s condition worsens, this should be discussed with the prescribing veterinarian. 

Why does GI Soothing contain yeast?

Saccharomyces boulardii is a beneficial yeast that has been studied in dogs and shown to support a healthy intestinal environment and stress-related GI balance. It helps maintain healthy immune signaling in the gut.

Nutritional yeast is included for B vitamins and beta-glucans for cellular energy and support.

 

What is spirulina?

Spirulina is a nutrient-dense blue-green algae that provides protein, antioxidants, and trace nutrients. In GI Soothing, it helps nourish beneficial microbes and supports a healthy gut environment.

 

What is mucilage?

Mucilage is a natural plant gel that when hydrated becomes slippery and coats and soothes mucous membranes, supports GI comfort, can promote healthy bowel function, and provide gentle, whole-food support for digestive irritation.
